My latest piece ‘Reunited’ means the world to me. It is very difficult & rare for me these days to be able to create anything with a free & unadulterated mind as I have let too many outside influences dictate how & when I create art which confuses my inner spirit as I play the balancing act of existing within this world & keeping my mind right as a true artist.

As of recent I was able to find a small window within my soul where I was finally capable of forgetting the world just for a small moment to be able to freehand create something without the use of crutches such as references, rulers, the computer or anything else. I finally let loose & was able to create from the bottom of my heart & dug deep into my emotional well where a feeling genuinely hit pen to paper.

For those who have followed the storytelling within my art over the years, you know that my best friend ‘B’ my beloved cat & studio mate & creative director appeared in many of my works. His passing at the age of 16 in 2020 during the roughest time of my life negatively affected my already crapy creative output as it is unbearably difficult to draw and paint without him by my side to this day.

Finally, I was able to channel the deep emotions within my subconscious to create this small humble little 6”x6” piece depicting B & his late great Mama P coming down from their afterlife/origin world to visit me & his 19 year old brother Puff who is the last remaining member of their bloodline.
